I’ll start it off with my idea…Top 15 Business Ideas For Entrepreneurship Class.

Top 15 Business Ideas For Entrepreneurship Class.

1. Electronic bus ticketing system:

It was a Saturday around noon and I was headed to an amusement park with my friends. However, we were immediately turned away at the entrance as it was too late to enter. We waited for half an hour as people rushed out…but there were no buses scheduled to take us back home. We walked to a nearby mall and waited there for another hour, but none of the taxis were willing to take us back home. We tried flagging down other buses…but they all dismissed us saying that we couldn’t enter the park after 12:00 noon even if we had tickets.

We felt like giving up and walked all the way back home. It was a very disappointing day for us.

But the next morning, I saw an ad for this e-ticketing company on TV… “Buy online and hop on our buses immediately.” – That’s how it went according to the voice-over in the ad.

I started searching for it after that….and found out that there were several such companies in our country.

It is an online bus ticketing system where you can buy your tickets without standing in long queues and get on the buses immediately.

This idea may seem simple, but it has helped millions of people across the globe. You can even find similar services like this for taxis and other things that people do not want to stand in queues for.

2. Electronic train ticketing system:

It was a Saturday around midnight and I was headed to one of our relatives’ places…I’m sure you can relate to this 🙂 . The usual chaos ensued at the railway station, buying tickets and getting them printed took up half our time (which we could’ve spent in reaching our destination). Again, we waited for another hour to get onto the train.

This is where this idea popped into my head…

I started searching and found that many countries in Europe (and even some in Asia) had already implemented it successfully. You can buy your railway tickets online and travel without any hassle or standing in long queues. It would be a great service if implemented here in India too.

3. Online gaming:

I was playing Need for Speed most wanted one night when I realized, “If this is something people like me do on weekends…there must be millions of them like me.” I asked around and almost everyone said they liked playing games from time to time, but they couldn’t spend more than a few hours doing it.

Now you can see online game portals like 3Moons, Zapak, Spuul, etc. where you can play games for free (or buy paid memberships) and have access to their entire library of games. You can spend as much time as you want to play your favorite game without even worrying about the CD or the system requirements 🙂 .

4. Online shopping:

I was looking around one day when I realized that most of us don’t have the time to visit all the shops in our city before buying anything…people are always on the lookout for discounts and sales which only happen at select stores. If there were someplace where we could get all these products with just a few clicks away…it would be a great service for everyone.

Some of you may already know that Amazon has been advertising this on Indian television…you can definitely see the scope and potential in such an idea.

5. Online education:

A teacher friend of mine told me about these new online classes where they give lectures at times which suit everyone and charge very nominal fees for it. It is indeed a great service if implemented successfully, imagine the capacity it will add to our educational system!

I’m sure many people would like to get their degrees through such services too. These are just some ideas that popped into my head when I thought about entrepreneurship…I know there are millions more out there 🙂 . Do send us your ideas too by leaving them in comments, we could tell you how good they sound and maybe even suggest a few improvements 🙂 .

6 . Online website development:

I’ve always wanted to start something on my own…and although I was doing well in my job, it never really felt like the right time. I knew that if ever I started something, it would change my life for good and I didn’t want to make any mistakes.

7 . Various online services:

Ever since I was a child, I loved making websites and programs…websites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. have helped millions transact between themselves after inventing a new way to do it over the internet. It seems obvious to me that if you can make money while doing something you love…it’s bound to make you happy :).

Now that we’ve talked about why someone would start an online business in India, let’s get into how they should go about starting one.

8 . A strong online presence:

Even though the internet is still growing, you will need to have a good online presence if you wish to start your business. You can start with making your profile on various social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc…you never know who may be interested in what you are offering.

9 . A well thought out a business plan:

I’ve read somewhere that while writing a business plan, you should try to convert all your dreams into reality. You can work on it yourself or hire someone to write one for you…it’s the first step towards building something new.

10 . Financing your venture:

You may have heard of this term…venture capitalists…they are the people who invest in businesses that are still undeveloped or between start-up and maturity. If you manage to convince them that you have what it takes to make your company a success, they will finance your project with their money and experience. It is indeed a great opportunity to get access to funds without worrying about credit history etc.

11 . Marketing your project:

Once you start your company, you will need to get the word out…that is where marketing comes in. You can hire professionals who know what kind of advertising works best for your situation or do it yourself if you are adept at it. It’s all about earning a good reputation and getting people talking about your business :).

12 . Customers!

It seems obvious but one of the most important parts of starting a company is having customers because this means that they like what you’ve offered them so far. If there are no customers then there isn’t much to build on. You can think about ways to make existing customers loyal to your brand or even try to get new ones through various methods by showing them why they would want to choose your company over others.

13 . Making use of the internet:

If you are considering starting an online-based business, you should know that the internet is a great place to start your project. There are resources available online which can help you learn how to build websites, market them and even create content for them. I’ve listed some of them below…one thing to keep in mind is that they may cost money so choose what’s right for you depending on budget constraints, etc..

1. Youtube has many videos on almost everything under the sun but if you search using keywords specific to your line of business, there are plenty of lectures or free tutorials out there! You could check out Khan Academy as well….it offers free lectures, quizzes, and practice questions.

2. If you are not adept at making websites then you could hire someone to do it for you or simply pay someone on Fiverr or Upwork etc…these sites provide freelancers that can help with various tasks like designing a logo, coding a website, writing content for your website and many others. There’s even a site called Zirtual which helps people find virtual assistants from other countries so they can get things done while being overseas…I’ve used it in the past and was very happy with the result 🙂 .

14 . Be prepared to fail:

Starting an online business isn’t easy…there will be ups and downs but if you manage to come out on top, you will be on your way to living the life of your dreams 🙂 .

15 . Networking:

Networking is one of the most useful things you can do if you are trying to build a business. It’s all about making connections…who knows who may end up being your next client or an important contact for your growing company? Make sure that when talking with people face-to-face, that you keep the conversation professional whereas if it’s done online then feel free to let them know what you’re working on.

This list is by no means exhaustive but I hope this will help some people who are thinking about starting their own project.  I myself am currently building something new so I’ll post more info as soon as it’s ready to launch 🙂 .

What business ideas should I pursue in order to make money?

You don’t need a unique idea, anything that is currently making money is a good candidate for you to copy and improve. So here are some examples:
A Flipped Classroom: The idea behind this structure of the course is that students watch the lectures online and then complete the homework in class.
A Car Wash: Start by doing your research and targeting a high-traffic area, such as near a stadium or busy intersection.
An Ice Cream Truck: This one is especially popular in the summertime, but you could also offer it as a year-round service.

What are the legal requirements for starting a business?

The legal requirements for starting a business will vary depending on the type of business you want to start. However, there are some general things that you will need to take into consideration.
First, make sure that you choose a business structure.
Some examples include sole proprietor, LLC (limited liability company), S-Corp (an S-Corp is like an LLC but it has more legal ramifications), C Corp (a corporation), and partnership. Each of these types comes with different pros and cons, so be sure to do your research before making a decision.
Second, you will need to register your business with the state and pay any necessary fees. This is typically done by filing paperwork with either the secretary of state or the department of corporations. In addition, you should also get an employer identification number from the IRS (Internal Revenue Service).

What are some common mistakes made by entrepreneurs?

There are a few common mistakes that entrepreneurs often make. Here are a few of them:
1. Not doing their research: This is probably the biggest mistake that entrepreneurs make. They often rush into starting their business without doing any planning or research. This can lead to disaster down the road.
2. Failing to create a business plan: A business plan is essential for any business. It outlines the goals of your company, how it will achieve those goals, and what resources are needed to get you there. Without a business plan, it is nearly impossible to have a clear direction for your business.
