And content which has made it easy for me to earn extra money online without spending hours writing about things I don’t care about. Sometimes it takes a while but if you stick with it and never give up because you know you are providing value then one-day businesses will start contacting you wanting your work. Set up your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts
Setting up your social media accounts is something you can do easily in a matter of minutes, even if you’re completely unfamiliar with them. Go to each of these websites and set up an account (all you need is an email address and you’re off!) . . . it’s just as easy as filling out a form on any other website.
Once your accounts are ready, write about how each one helps potential customers find your products and how they can be used for free (and paid) marketing tools—and be sure to link back to your website! Your Facebook page should have some sort of call-to-action directing readers to your business website.
But that doesn’t mean it has to be overt or pushy. The key here is building trust by providing useful information and establishing yourself as an authority in your niche. Remember: If people like what they see on Facebook, there’s a good chance they’ll follow you elsewhere online too!
Start Following People who Follow Back
Once you’ve started following other people, it’s time to start looking at who’s following you back. Worry, though: There are no limits to how many people can follow you, but you should pay attention to who is following your brand and make sure they’re relevant. If someone follows your Twitter account that has only tweeted twice and they have 80 followers, chances are they won’t be very active on social media and will have little effect on expanding your reach.
Conversely, if someone with thousands of followers starts following you—tweeting out one of your tweets or retweeting something you posted—that’ll help increase your own follower count as well as expand your reach through them. You can also use a tool like ManageFlitter to find people who are similar to those already following you. This way, you don’t waste time trying to connect with users who aren’t going to be interested in what you have to say.
Comment on Other People’s Posts in Your Niche
This is a very easy way to gain exposure and grow your audience. There are thousands of blogs in any given niche, but only two or three people can get to the top spots. Make sure you’re commenting on their stuff and answering questions that are being asked by those who frequent their site. Then, when they make an announcement or post an interview or something, share it on your page.
You never know where it might lead. I’ve gotten quite a few good leads just from sharing other people’s content on my page and I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t spent time giving back before asking for anything in return. And don’t forget: You don’t need to be a famous blogger to comment on other people’s posts!
Just read up on what they write about and comment with your expertise or experience (you’ll learn more doing that than almost anything else). In fact, many bloggers love getting feedback from readers because not many people do it. Plus, it helps them out!
Promote Your Posts in Groups Where Others Are Looking for Content
Whenever you post on your own site, it’s important to go out and promote it. One great way to do that is to find groups where others are looking for content. These may be Facebook groups or LinkedIn groups, forums, or niche sites. If you can get your content onto their home page, even if just once, you’ll gain access to some targeted visitors who might not have found you otherwise.
And if they like what they see there, they’ll come back for more. What follows is an example of how one group will share new posts on its site: People in several other Facebook groups I belong to posted these same articles (I haven’t asked permission). Usually, when people share multiple posts from one author, my radar goes up a bit. But I’ve decided to share them here because I think they’re all worth reading. Each of these authors has done something different with their content promotion strategy, so take a look at each one and decide which parts you’ll use yourself.
Even though they’re sharing multiple posts by different authors, readers won’t be confused about why because each post’s title clearly states which author wrote it. In addition, each post includes links back to both the original source website as well as any social media profiles for that particular author/website. So readers aren’t left wondering how else they can connect with that person or website either; everything is included right there in each post’s description. That said, many groups require members to ask permission before sharing someone else’s work — so always check first!

Influencers are folks with popular blogs, podcasts, or other social media accounts who can promote your content to their existing audience. To contact influencers in your niche, try Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn search. You can also use tools like Followerwonk (to search for keywords) and Klear (to get contact info) to find these folks.
