35 Best Business Ideas For Quick Money (Daily Earn 500$)

35 Best Business Ideas For Quick Money (Daily Earn 500$). I’ve been a programmer most of my life and it’s always fascinated me how people come up with great business ideas. I’ve seen some crazy ones in my time but by far the most popular is the classic ‘build a better mousetrap’ type. 35 Best Business Ideas For Quick Money (Daily Earn 500$)

In this post, I’m going to outline 35different types of business you can start from home.

Now before I start, please remember that these are just ideas – it’s up to you to research and find the hidden opportunities behind them. I’m not liable for any losses or damages as a result of this post. However, what I can guarantee is that none of these business ideas will be boring!

Some of these you might have heard about before and some will be completely new to you. Some of them are internet-based and others will require you to go out there and shake a few hands.

Let’s start with the first one:

35 Best Business Ideas For Quick Money

1- Website Development

If you can write HTML, PHP, or any other programming language, you can make a website. The possibilities are endless – you can start a blog, an online store, or even offer programming services. If that sounds too complicated then you might want to try blogging, which I’ll outline later in this article.

Website development is a great way to make money because it’s not limited by geographical boundaries and your market is the entire world. The only place you can’t sell to our customers in North Korea or Iran – if you can get around that then there’s nothing stopping you!

Website development often requires a large upfront investment which might be why most people start by blogging. This is just as good though and usually pays better per hour of work. I’d suggest this route for anyone who wants to eventually have a ‘set it and forget it’ blog that makes money every month without your attention.

2- Blogging

If website development doesn’t sound like your cup of tea then blogging might be just what you’re looking for. A blog allows you to write about anything and has an extremely low barrier to entry (you don’t need any skills). You can read more about how to start a blog here.

Blogging is great because you have complete control over your destiny – if you write enough interesting content, visitors will come and stay for weeks. The longer they stay on your site, the more advertisements they see which results in money being paid to you!

3- Affiliate Marketing

This is the most common internet-based business people tend to do. Basically, it means that whenever someone buys something online using your affiliate link (like amazon.com/whatever), you get some percentage of that order as commission. This can be extremely profitable depending on what product or service you are promoting. We’ll talk about this more later but for now, just consider it as making money online.

4- SEO services

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is what powers most of the internet and there are agencies who help websites increase their rank for specific keywords in Google and other search engines. If you’re good at researching and managing these types of tasks, you can make a living out of this type of consulting. It has a certain learning curve but if done correctly, huge profits can be made quickly.

5- Ebooks/Courses

Writing an ebook might not seem like an easy way to make money but it’s actually very profitable when done right! I’ve sold hundreds (sometimes thousands) of ebooks on Amazon Kindle and never once advertised them on any major social media platform. This means that I don’t have to work hard at marketing my products – Amazon does it for me!

6- Health/Fitness coaching

Everyone wants to be healthy and fit, but there’s so much conflicting information out there that people tend to get confused. If you’re an expert in the health field then you can start your own fitness coaching or nutrition website and teach other people how to improve their lives. This could be as easy as writing blog posts on running, dieting, or even cooking healthy meals at home!

7- Become a Virtual Assistant (VA)

People are outsourcing simple tasks like data entry, email responses, or social media management because they don’t want to waste time doing things they aren’t good at. You can make a living by doing these things for them from the relative comfort of your home. If you have a good internet connection and some knowledge on a specific task, you can sign up to be a VA with places like Upwork or Freelancer.com.

8- Coding

I had already mentioned that website development requires a large upfront investment but if you’re going to do it anyway then it might as well be on something that will pay itself off! There is no better way to learn how to code than coding yourself so this is often the first step on the path of making money online. If you’re looking for where to start on how to become a programmer from scratch then check out my article series How To Code: The Complete Guide.

9- Selling art

I’m not talking about painting portraits and landscapes here but rather digital designs you can sell online. A lot of people use the internet to buy everything from iPhone cases, t-shirts, or prints of their favorite photographs so why not put yourself on this market? Check out my article Can I Make Money as a Digital Artist? if you’re interested in earning money like this.

10- Virtual reality (VR) development

This is something that’s still quite new and untapped by most developers, but it’s getting more popular every day thanks to the rise of cheap VR headsets like Samsung Gear and Google Cardboard. If you know how to design virtual worlds and various applications like games then there is definitely a market for you out there! My article How To Make Money Developing Virtual Reality Apps is a great place to start.

11- Youtube Channel

This is something I’ve only recently started doing myself, but it’s so simple that almost anyone can do it. Just record yourself playing video games or talking about topics you love and upload those videos onto your very own channel on Youtube (it doesn’t even have to be original content if you don’t want it). If you’re looking for more information on how easy it is to make money with Youtube check out my blog post 10 Ways You Can Make Money As A Youtuber. 35 Best Business Ideas For Quick Money

12- Teaching online courses

This one is similar to the ebook we discussed above; the main difference is that you’re the one creating the course! Talk about something you love or are experienced in and sell it as an online course. You can either charge for access to the full course right away or give your students little “tasters” of your lessons so they come back for more.

13- Internet Marketing

I’ve mentioned this method many times but just briefly, internet marketing involves promoting products on places like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, or Youtube to generate sales. There are tons of ways you can do this depending on what field your business operates in (fitness, blogging, etc.) but typically you’ll be doing things like purchasing ad space from a company and then uploading a video onto your social media channels that promote their product in exchange for a percentage of the profit.

14- Freelancing

Just to clarify, this isn’t just limited to freelancing in your own country or city, but rather it’s working for someone in another part of the world. The internet has made it easier than ever before to find employment online and you can make a living from anywhere in the world as long as you have a stable internet connection! I recently wrote a blog post 10 Ways You Can Make Money As A Freelancer which covers all kinds of freelance opportunities that are available right now.

15- Dropshipping

When you drop ship an item, you’re essentially buying something cheap from one supplier and then selling it at a higher price. This is typically done by website owners who want to make a quick buck and don’t have the time or inclination to source their own products. I’ve written a detailed article on How To Make Money Dropshipping Online which you can check out right here.

16- Technical Support

This one is getting more difficult as more people become familiar with the internet, but there are still plenty of customers out there who need help with their devices. Visit sites like Craigslist where you’ll be able to place ads that will attract potential customers looking for this kind of service. You can also try offering your services through other websites like freelancer.com or fiverr.com.

17- Boardgame Reviewer

A lot of board gamers rely on online reviews before making a purchase and these reviews can be extremely lucrative for the game reviewer. I’m not sure how many people are looking to pay for board game reviews online, but you could try contacting popular companies like Boardgamegeek or big gold to see if they would consider hiring you.

18- Freelance researcher

This one is exactly as it sounds; businesses will look for proofreaders, writers, web designers, etc so why not offer your services as a freelance researcher? Sites like Upwork are perfect places to find work that you can outsource to other freelancers who specialize in specific niches.

19- Publishing Kindle books

There are tons of courses out there on how to write your own fiction book and publish it on sites like Amazon for others to purchase. The easiest way to make money from this is through Kindle Direct Publishing which allows you to publish your book without having it edited or formatted by them first. I’ve already published one book on Amazon if you’d like to check it out!

20- Writing Ebooks

One of the most popular ways of making money online right now is writing ebooks and publishing them on online marketplaces like Amazon. If you’re able to create a valuable guide that solves someone’s problems you can generate commissions each time someone buys the product (especially if they buy something else while they’re there). There are tons of courses out there teaching people how to write their own fiction books so why not also teach people how to write their own nonfiction book?

21- Local Tutor

If you’re extremely knowledgeable in one field of study, then why not offer your services to people around you that are looking for answers to questions they can’t seem to find anywhere else. For example, if you were an expert at marketing and internet technology you could become a tutor helping others learn how to properly use WordPress or other blogging platforms. You could also help students with assignments online, particularly those who live outside of the country where the language is spoken (and therefore don’t know anyone locally).

22- Photography

The photography market has taken off over the last few years as more and more people want quality images that they can upload onto their blogs or websites. Some people are willing to pay for these services, but why not learn everything you can about how it all works? You could even start your own photography business if you’re good enough!

23- Visual Merchandising

One of my absolute favorite jobs I’ve ever had was visual merchandising at a high-end department store called Nordstrom. The only qualifications necessary were that you be able to put together aesthetically pleasing outfits and have an eye for detail. If you think this might be something you’d enjoy doing, check out job site Indeed, where there are usually multiple listings for companies looking for someone with this skill set.

24- Blogging

Creating content online has become one of the most popular ways to make money online. While it’s certainly a good idea to create something of value that people would actually be willing to pay for, you can still make money by setting up a WordPress blog and monetizing it through Google Adsense or similar ad networks.

25- Copywriting

Every business in the world needs an online presence with beautiful copy that describes their product or service. If you’re able to write easy-to-understand content that appeals to your target market you could get paid handsomely for your services. Copywriters typically charge $1 per word so if you can reach 2000 words per article, for example, this is what your rate should be (check out my copywriter course !)

26- Product Reviewer

Companies like Apple and Samsung hire people to travel around the world testing out different devices. The best part is they pay you full retail price for any product that you have to review in order for it to be considered unbiased.

27- Design T-Shirts

One of my favorite ways to make money when I was in high school was by designing t-shirts and selling them online. There are tons of custom apparel sites online where you can upload your designs, set a price, and start making sales. Custom Apparel Marketplace is one of the most popular (and also has an app).

28- Graphic Designer

Companies who want professional-looking flyers or other promotional materials will often look towards graphic designers like yourself to get the job done right. While these types of clients typically want to work with someone who has a lot of experience, there are still small jobs that can help you get your foot in the door.

29- Illustrator

In addition to graphic design, another way to get started is by trying your hand at illustrating for others. In this case, you’re creating drawings and sketches that go along with a company’s custom-designed website or children’s books. One place I know of where illustrators often look for new talent is Carve Magazine.

30- Proofreading and Editing

If you’ve ever taken an English class in college chances are you will be great at proofreading and editing other people’s work (and maybe even their resumes). There are tons of sites online where you can get paid for doing this type of work, but if you’re looking to build a recurring source of income I would try a site like Text Broker.

31- Transcription

If you have decent typing skills and are able to listen in on phone conversations it might be worth thinking about becoming a transcriptionist. While the pay isn’t great (usually between $1.50-$3 per audio minute) there’s not very much competition so this could be an opportunity where you could earn residual income over time. Check out TranscribeMe or Transcription Cafe to learn more!

32- Recording Videos

Companies who want to create instructional videos for their online community will oftentimes send these videos off to be recorded and then transcribed. This can be a great side hustle for people who are on their way to early retirement because the starting pay is around $20 per hour.

33- Creating Podcasts

While you need some level of talent or education in order to make money podcasting, there are still plenty of opportunities out there if you’re willing to put your time and energy behind it. Check out my free course on How To Start A Podcast, which will walk you through everything you need to know!

34- Sell Your Old Tech

Instead of letting all that old technology get thrown into a landfill try selling them online. There are companies like Gazelle that will pay cash for any Apple product, including iPhones and iPads (even broken ones)!

35- Selling Used Books

Bookscouter is a site that will help you sell your used books, including eBooks, for the most money. The best place to go if you’re looking to take advantage of all the used book deals online!

36- Sell Your Body For Scientific Research or Medical Testing

If you’ve got some time on your hands and are in good health check out clinicaltrials.gov to see if any current medical trials are being conducted near where you live. Not only do these pay well, but they also have flexible schedules so you can work around your own routine. Here’s another list of paying clinical studies.
